Sara Douglas

Sara Douglas makes paintings about power, mediation, and the status and circulation of images.

She holds a B.A. in English literature from Yale University and a B.F.A. in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design, where she was a recipient of the Florence Leif Award for excellence in painting. She lives and works in Sunset Park and is currently working on a project about the reproduction and circulation of Marian art.
